JESSICA + JOHN'S HALLOWEDDING
I've known Jessica for...like 12 years, I think? But life happens and I hadn't actually seen her in several of those years. Then she asked me to photograph her wedding and once I saw her again it was as if no time had passed. I remembered just how vibrant and fun and magnetic she was. And seeing the love she found with John was magical.

They got married at The Stanley in Downtown Lee's Summit, and this historic building was the perfect setting for their spooky Halloween wedding.

Look at this cake! It was red velvet of course.

Look how gorgeous Jessica looked!

As we were taking portraits of Jessica, she happened to get a glimpse of John before their first look and her reaction was precious, she just kept saying "Oh my god, he looks so handsome!"

So I took her across the street, and John's mother walked him across the street with his eyes closed so that they could do their "first" look (John hadn't seen her yet).

Her sheer excitement was so adorable.

The ring bearer was dressed just like the groom and I could hardly handle myself!

I mean...

Jessica and her mother were the cutest.

I think the only times Jessica wasn't laughing or smiling was when she was crying happy tears.

As the guests started arriving, I got to see some of the amazing costumes.

Live music included songs from Hocus Pocus, and other classic Halloween tunes.

More of their spooky decor.

Groom needed a quick little relax before joining the dinner.

This group knew how to party.

I had a blast with these two on their special day.
Y'all were so creative and fun and I wish you nothing but love, lots of adult jokes, and laughter in your future.
